Reflection: This year, we'll focus on great literature: reading it AND writing it! Reflect on the books you've read at home and in school, and post on one of the following topics:
* A book that had a tremendous impact on me, either positive or negative;
* My favorite all time memory of reading at home;
* The most difficult book I've ever read and how I overcame its challenges.
Be sure to post before 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1!

The most difficult book i've ever read and how I overcame its challenges.
The most difficult book i've ever read at is The Child Called It...I overcame its challenges because I got really into the book and made a "metal movie" which helps me understand the texts easier....

- The child called it series.
It made me realize how lucky i am and how unfortunate some other chidren may be and the book taught me to be more respectful to my parents.

ReplyDeleteTears of a Tiger put a big impact on my life. I think about things before i act, and the consequences i know i have to handle if i make a wrong decision. Reading that book really set a impact because i will never drive intoxicated. Just because I wouldnt want put my family threw the pain , i wouldnt want to end my life on something I could have avoided. I also have siblins & i want to set a good example for them.

ReplyDeleteMy all time favorite memory of reading at home was when I read a Goosbump book. I was a little younger at the time and the book totally creeped me out. For the first time i was drawn into the book and couldnt stop reading. From that day on I have been interested in horror books and read them very often.

ReplyDeleteThe book "How not to be popular" made a huge impact on my life. The book's message is saying to not judge people by what they wear or what group you hang with. I know personliy i hate being labled.
